Our client is an established and successful specialist contractor undertaking Roofing, Cladding & Façade packages for Tier 1 Main Contractor across Ireland, UK, and Europe. They are particularly busy with data center projects and currently involved in multiple hyper-scale new build data center projects across Europe.
Due to this continued growth, our client is now seeking for an experienced & dedicated Site Manager, who will be responsible for managing the site operations, coordination of workers and ensuring that the structural works are completed, safely, effectively and of highest quality standard.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Initiate detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects.
Conduct site assessment to identify the project requirements, risks, and opportunities.
Team up with stakeholders to specify project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
Look after the development, productivity, and quality to ensure that the project goals are achieved according to project schedule & specifications.
Manage the company records/ documentations of relevant milestones/ issues ready for submission to Project Manager/Contracts Manager.
Update the Project Manager & Contracts Manager for any adjustments of schedules/ equipment to accommodate changes and maximize development.
Carry out quality control measures and procedures to identify and address construction errors and deficiencies.
Enforce strict adherence to health & safety regulations, policies and procedures on site and promote culture of safety.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks and training to ensure that all workers are aware of and compliant with H&S requirements.
Degree in Structural Engineering/Construction Management or related field.
Proven experience in Site Management role within data centre contracts.
3+ years' experience in cladding and roofing at a foreman or supervisor level.
Knowledge in reading, understanding and interpreting contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, project programs and project agreements.
Strong understanding of roofing construction methods and practices, including safety codes and standards.
Current driver's license.
Effective communication, management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in site management softwares and tools.
