Junior Quantity Surveyor - London
Due to ongoing growth in the UK Construction Market, we are seeking Junior Quantity Surveyors to join our delivery team for projects in the London Region and Middlesbrough. These projects encompass the construction of new Data Centre and Biopharma facilities.
Responsibilities:
As part of the Construction Team and under the guidance of a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for various Quantity Surveying tasks, including but not limited to:
- Monitoring Costs and Hours of all Labour Hire Subcontractors.
- Tracking Costs and Hours of all Subcontracted Preliminary Staff.
- Assisting the Senior QS in preparing Commercial Reports.
- Maintaining all Commercial Registers.
- Managing subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account settlement.
- Supporting the Senior QS with monthly progress applications.
- Fulfilling any other duties associated with the role.
Skills/Requirements:
- Relevant third-level qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-functional team.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
