Location: Southampton Salary: £50.000 - £55.000 + package

Pre-Construction Engineer - Southampton 


Our Client is a well-known, industry-leading building services provider that provides complete electrical and mechanical design, installation, and maintenance services.
Design and construction projects worth between £1 million and £4 million were included in the work sectors.
 

Role: 


Working in our busy Pre-Construction department, you will act as team leader to successfully complete the front end duties given to you. In addition to being in charge of the offsite portion of the works, you will also continue to be involved onsite while supporting the onsite delivery.

•    Review the MEP design and help with service coordination on-site [site to office liaison].
•    Complete RFIs on projects and technical inquiries, taking ownership of the process until it is finished
•    Complete equipment technical submissions
•    When the project leaves the pre-construction department, own the technical answering process.
•    Serve as our operational and commercial teams' post-pre-construction liaison on active projects.
•    Practical experience is a crucial factor in this case.
•    Participate in DTMs alongside our customers and contractors
•    Proactively engineer our projects in conjunction with our design meetings
•    Obtain supplies and machinery all through our purchasing process.
•    Continue to be accountable for completing the responsibilities assigned to you within the department on time.
•    Full post-pre-construction KPIs for evaluating the work of consultants and subcontractors
•    The establishment of and adherence to Design and Construction programmes
•    Controlling, accessing and managing this process for project documents
•    As directed, provide general business support to other departments.
 

Requirements


The minimum prerequisite for this position is three years of experience in the same company in the same or a related role.
It would be highly suggested that you interview any candidates who have worked in their current position for more than ten years.
You will have a CSCS skills card, SMSTS certification, and appropriate industry experience when you are hired as the MEP project manager.
