Are you a seasoned Cost Manager or Commercial Manager with extensive experience in luxury hospitality projects? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Cost Manager / Senior Commercial Manager to join our prestigious team in Saudi Arabia.
Role Overview: In this role, you will take on a leadership position overseeing cost management and commercial activities for luxury hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Lead Cost Manager / Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing project finances, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-profile projects within the luxury hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all cost management and commercial aspects of luxury hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia.
- Develop and implement robust cost control strategies, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the cost management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimize project profitability.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and risk assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks.
- Monitor project financial performance, track expenditures, and provide regular reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to cost management and commercial activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Membership of MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in cost management or commercial management roles within the luxury hospitality sector.
- In-depth knowledge of cost management principles, contract administration, and financial analysis.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
- Previous experience working on luxury hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is highly desirable.
