We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
Provide full leadership across all mechanical and electrical packages, guiding the project from early site set up through installation, integration and final completion. Ensure safe working practices, strict procedural control and full alignment with client and project requirements for mission critical environments.
• Coordinate design development and ensure technical accuracy
Work directly with designers, specialist consultants and trade contractors to review drawings, resolve design queries and maintain technical accuracy. Confirm that all systems are fully coordinated within the building and that every installation supports performance, reliability and data centre resilience standards.
• Lead MEP installation works and maintain high quality standards
Supervise day to day activities across all mechanical and electrical systems including power, cooling, fuel, containment and specialist systems. Verify material quality, installation methods, sequencing and workmanship while ensuring progress remains in line with key project milestones and final commissioning needs.
• Drive testing, commissioning and readiness for client handover
Develop and coordinate commissioning plans, support factory and site acceptance testing, and work closely with commissioning teams to integrate all systems. Ensure documentation, inspection records, test results and close out actions are complete and ready for phased handover to the client.
• Engage with project stakeholders and manage subcontractor performance
Act as the primary contact for all MEP matters, ensuring clear communication with project managers, client representatives and specialist subcontractors. Monitor performance, address risks early and maintain strong relationships to ensure predictable delivery across all MEP packages.
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on a large scale construction project (including Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
€110,000 - €125,000 + Accommodation, 17/4 Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, Overseas allowance
