Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centres – Sweden

We are currently partnering with an international construction company with operations in Ireland, Germany and Sweden. Their impressive and ever-growing portfolio includes commercial, fit-out, data centres, biopharma, industrial warehousing, retail, residential, healthcare, conservation and education projects. Due to their continued growth, they are actively seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Sweden.

Responsibilities

Lead full commercial management across major data centre packages
Oversee cost planning, budget control and commercial governance for complex CSA, mechanical and electrical works, ensuring financial accuracy and strong commercial positions throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage procurement strategy and subcontractor engagements
Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, negotiate commercial terms and ensure subcontractors are appointed in line with programme, cost targets and project specifications.
Administer contracts and oversee change management
Track variations, evaluate entitlement, prepare change orders and maintain rigorous documentation to support claims, protect margin and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Deliver detailed cost reporting and financial forecasting
Produce monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, value tracking and cost to complete assessments, presenting clear, data driven insights to project leadership and stakeholders.
Support site delivery teams with commercial guidance
Work closely with project managers and site teams to monitor progress, assess risks, validate measurements and ensure commercial decisions align with both project objectives and client expectations.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
