Electrical Commissioning Engineer – Data Centre – Sweden Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight. We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Gavle, Sweden.
Oversee all electrical commissioning activities across vendor packages, ensuring full compliance with project scope, programme milestones, and agreed delivery requirements.
• On-Site Commissioning Operations
Manage daily commissioning activities, including witnessing vendor commissioning works, supervising FATs/FWTs, and verifying all tasks against approved test scripts and project documentation.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with QA/QC and AP departments to align commissioning workflows, documentation control, and quality objectives, ensuring timely achievement of required commissioning sign-off levels.
• Commissioning Meetings & Progress Reporting
Lead and participate in daily and weekly commissioning meetings with internal teams and vendors, providing detailed progress updates and issuing weekly vendor commissioning reports to commissioning management.
• Documentation Tracking & Compliance
Track, review, and secure approval for all electrical commissioning documents—such as compliance statements, test packs, and commissioning records—while managing commissioning tagging processes and ensuring procedural adherence.
Must have 7+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
