Electrical Supervisor – Data Centre – Amsterdam

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

•   Supervise daily electrical installation activities
Oversee all on site electrical works including cable containment, power distribution, UPS systems, generators and lighting, ensuring workmanship, safety and sequencing meet project requirements for mission critical environments.
•   Manage subcontractor performance and work fronts
Coordinate the activities of electrical subcontractors, assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure labour, materials and equipment are available to maintain programme momentum.
•   Enforce quality standards and compliance
Carry out inspections, review installation quality, verify that works follow approved drawings and specifications and ensure full compliance with electrical regulations and project QAQC procedures.
•   Support testing and commissioning preparation
Work with commissioning and engineering teams to prepare systems for pre energisation, testing and final sign off, ensuring all inspections, documentation and close out actions are completed on time.
•   Interface with site management and project stakeholders
Provide regular updates on progress, risks and resource needs, escalate technical issues promptly and maintain clear communication between engineering, safety, commissioning and project leadership teams.

Requirements

Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have relevant degree level certifications or equivalent trades’ background
EU Passport or RTW in the Netherlands is preferred
