Senior Architect – Data Centre – Dublin

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy with a global record of successful delivery on a range of projects including, but not limited to, Data Centres, Recladding, Medical Projects, Nursing homes, Clinics and many more.

Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a well experienced Architect to contribute to a Data Centre construction project in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Architectural Design Leadership
Lead the development and refinement of the architectural design, ensuring the vision, functionality, and technical requirements of the Data Centre are met. Provide expert guidance on design strategy, spatial planning, and material selection, ensuring compliance with regulations, industry standards, and client expectations.
Cross-Discipline Oversight & Coordination
Oversee coordination with MEP, civil, and structural teams, ensuring that design intent is maintained and potential clashes are proactively resolved. Facilitate technical workshops and design reviews to align all stakeholders and mitigate risks to project timelines and quality.
Mentoring & Team Management
Provide guidance and support to junior architects and technicians, reviewing work for accuracy, completeness, and constructibility. Foster knowledge-sharing, encourage professional growth, and maintain high standards of design excellence across the architectural team.
Site & Construction Interface
Engage with the site team to ensure construction aligns with design intent. Resolve complex on-site design challenges, advise on practical solutions, and maintain strong communication with contractors and project management to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
Quality, Compliance & Innovation
Drive the implementation of best practices, ensuring architectural outputs meet the highest standards of quality, constructibility, and compliance. Introduce innovative solutions where appropriate, support sustainable design objectives, and continuously seek opportunities to improve project efficiency and design outcomes.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres
Must have relevant degree level qualifications
Must be able to commit 3 days a week to commuting to the North Dublin Office
