Location: Oxford Salary: to c£65k + bens

Our client a leading design consultancy and project management company are an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to be based in their Oxfordshire offices with the ability to inspire others. You will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience predominantly within the Datacentre/Mission Critical industry with a proven track record in project management and the ability to run medium sized projects in the development, design and co-ordination of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer or working towards, educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent with experience  in the delivery of European data centre and mission critical projects, along with other sector experience including healthcare labs and clean rooms would be desirable.

 

You will be responsible for designs and specifying Electrical building systems, equipment, facilities, components and products by developing Electrical engineering concepts and solutions. You will also create reviews on Electrical engineering options, attend project design team meetings and co-ordinate with, project managers, structural engineers etc in addition to providing technical audit of deliverables from the design office. You will also Contribute to development of quality and technical standards while ensuring document control methods are being adhered to and quality control standards are being achieved.
