€70,000-85,000 DOE + Car allowance + Package

Our client is a leading engineering services contractor who is continuously expanding and is in need of a confident and experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor for a project based in Limerick, Ireland. The company is an expert in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection division who also offers first class services in Off Site Fabrication, Asset Management, Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Specialist Lift, Technical Support Services, Maintenance, BIM and Geo-Surveying.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Relevant third level qualification essential – Quantity Surveying / Engineering.

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience post qualification in a Mechanical contracting environment.

  • Experience working within the Life Sciences sector would be advantageous.

  • Strong technical ability and understanding Mechanical services essential.

  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.

  • Experience in management of suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Facility to gain chartership status available in-house.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines is essential.

  • Good understanding of construction contracts & methods of measurement.

  • Excellent Analytical & IT Skills are essential.

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
