We are assisting our client, a leading Electrical & Mechanical Contractor, in their search for an experienced EHS Advisor for a Data Centre project in Dublin. As EHS Advisor, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety within the organisation. You will provide expert advice, conduct risk assessments, and deliver training to reduce/eliminate risks and enhance the overall safety and environmental performance of the company.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Ensure that the company complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Carry out regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks, implementing control measures to resolve identified risks.
Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Prepare, submit, and keep track of EHS reports/documentations to management and relevant stakeholders as required.
Identify opportunities for improving EHS performance and implement initiatives to enhance safety culture and environmental sustainability.
Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on EHS matters.
Participate in meetings and contribute the best of your knowledge.
NEBOSH/ IOSH or related qualifications of EHS Advisor.
3+ years' experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
Proficiency in EHS management systems and software.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
