Location: Spain Salary: €100.000 - €110.000 + package

Planning Lead - Data Centre - Spain 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Assist the Project Management Team (PMT) in crafting and executing project programs.
  • Effectively manage and support planning team members during project execution.
  • Capable of supervising multiple projects and willing to make regular site visits.
  • Proficient in forensic planning and analysis of delay claims.
  • Strong knowledge and comprehension of mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Possess a relevant tertiary-level qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in M&E contracting.
  • Experience using Primavera P6 software, with a minimum of 3 years' proficiency.
  • Ability to scrutinize and challenge client programs as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning team in developing detailed EPC construction schedules to establish baseline agreement with the client.
  • Perform thorough schedule health checks before baseline approval, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and validation of critical paths.
  • Capability to fully resource loaded schedules, generate, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure the construction schedule is accurately and promptly updated.
  • Track planned versus actual Earned Value (EV) progress.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure an effective system is in place to capture and log any issues through appropriate change control mechanisms.
  • Attend site meetings as required, both internal and client-based.
  • Monitor original versus actual budgets for scope growth or changes.
  • Update and monitor the in-house database project control system.
  • Supervise fabrication workshop production and site installation progress.
  • Track productivity of craft labor through Spent versus Earned hours.
  • Ensure planning-related deliverables for weekly/monthly construction reports are completed on time.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and periodic reports for internal and external purposes.
