Senior Electrical Project Manager – Newport – Data Centres

We are currently partnering with a leading Contractor who are active across the UK and Europe. Demonstrating success in an array of sectors including but not limited to, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Energy and many more. Due to continued success, they are looking to further strengthen their team with an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager in Newport.

Responsibilities

•    Electrical Subcontractor Oversight: Manage and oversee the performance of the electrical subcontractor to ensure delivery aligns with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards specific to data centre requirements.
•    Coordination & Integration: Collaborate closely with the MEP Project Director and other project leads to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical and overall construction works, resolving interface issues proactively.
•    Programme & Progress Management: Monitor and track the electrical installation programme, ensuring milestones are met; lead progress meetings, manage look-aheads, and report accurately to the MEP Project Director.
•    Technical & Compliance Assurance: Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and method statements; ensure electrical works comply with UK regulations, data centre standards, and client specifications.
•    Risk, Change & Quality Control: Identify and manage risks, evaluate and coordinate change requests, and uphold stringent quality control processes to ensure the delivery of a robust and reliable electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

Previous Data Centre experience is required
Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK

Benefits

£110,000 - £120,000 per annum + Accommodation + Travel
