Site Manager / Senior Site Manager 

Our client is a well-established and growing main contractor operating across the Leinster and Midwest regions of Ireland, delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects for public and private sector clients with values generally between €5m to €50m. With a strong project pipeline and a reputation for excellence, they are now looking to expand our site leadership team with experienced and ambitious professionals.

We are currently seeking experienced Site Managers to join the organisation and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities on a range of commercial and residential schemes. Initial project assignments will be in Limerick and Cork. This is a key role requiring solid construction knowledge, team leadership, and a hands-on approach to site coordination, health and safety, and subcontractor management.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery
•    Coordinate trades, direct labour, and subcontractors to meet programme milestones
•    Maintain excellent standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
•    Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and senior management
•    Interpret construction drawings and specifications; ensure compliance with technical and design requirements
•    Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and efficient delivery
•    Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation

Requirements:
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor in Ireland
•    Proven track record managing residential and/or commercial projects
•    Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors is highly desirable
•    Strong technical knowledge of building methods, compliance standards, and regulations
•    Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
•    Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
•    Full clean driving licence; flexibility to travel within the region as needed
•    Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering preferred
