Project Manager – Commercial OPW – Limerick

We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Contractor with presence across Ireland who are now embarking on a €15,000,000 OPW project in Limerick. For this project they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the project as number 1 on site reporting only to the Contracts Director. 

Responsibilities

•    End-to-End Project Delivery:
Take full responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the OPW project, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations, while navigating public-sector procedures and reporting lines.
•    Live Environment & Stakeholder Coordination:
Plan and execute construction activities with minimal disruption to the live environment. Liaise closely with OPW representatives, local authorities, building users, and the contracts director to ensure transparent communication and safe phasing.
•    Programme & Resource Management:
Develop and maintain the master programme in coordination with the Contracts Director. Track progress of brickwork, steel erection, and general trades to ensure key milestones are met while managing labour, plant, and materials on-site.
•    Quality Control & Technical Oversight:
Ensure technical standards are met across all trades, especially in complex elements like structural steel connections and traditional brick detailing. Work closely with the design team to resolve technical queries and ensure works meet OPW specifications.
•    Risk, Safety & Compliance Leadership:
Implement robust HSEQ protocols in line with public-sector standards. Carry out site audits, lead safety briefings, manage risk assessments, and ensure the project meets PSCS and OPW-specific compliance obligations.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Commercial Construction and Curtainwall systems
Ideal Candidate will have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role

Benefits

€80,000 - €90,000 + Vehicle + Excellent package including bonus
