Project Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out – London

We are currently partnering with a well-established Design and Build Contractor with proven success across a variety of industries. They are currently seeking an experienced project level Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London on a Commercial Fit out project.

Responsibilities

Full Project Cost Management:
Take ownership of the commercial performance of the fit-out project, from procurement to final account. Ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Procurement & Subcontract Management:
Lead the procurement of key trades and supplier packages. Prepare tender documents, negotiate terms, manage contract awards, and monitor subcontractor performance in line with programme and budget.
Valuations & Payment Applications:
Prepare and submit client valuations, ensuring they reflect completed works and agreed variations. Certify subcontractor applications and maintain up-to-date commercial records.
Change & Variation Control:
Identify, assess, and value changes to the scope of works. Maintain a robust change control process, ensuring all variations are agreed and documented with both the client and supply chain.
Contract Administration & Final Accounts:
Administer contract terms (JCT D&B or similar), ensure compliance, and support project teams with commercial input. Prepare, negotiate, and agree final accounts to ensure commercial close-out.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 8+ years’ post qualification experience
Must live within a commutable distance of site in London

Benefits

£70,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
