An established M&E contractor in Central London is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team. You’ll be working on a range of exciting commercial projects, preparing competitive tenders and supporting the business’s growth in the thriving London market.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare mechanical cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial projects
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate costings
Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
Prepare bills of quantities and schedule of rates
Attend tender review meetings and present estimates to management
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify scope and requirements
Assist with value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities
Maintain accurate records and tender databases
About You:
2+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or M&E contracting
Previous experience estimating mechanical systems for commercial projects (e.g. office fit-out, retail, leisure, mixed-use developments)
Comfortable reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications
Good understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and public health installations
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
Confident communicator with good presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimation software advantageous
Eligible to live and work in the UK
