Associate Mechanical Engineer

Location: Berkshire Salary: £70,000 to £75,000 per annum

I am working directly with the Managing Partner of a privately owned Building Services Consultants based in Berkshire.

Through some ongoing expansion, he now is actively seeking a Mechanically biased Associate to join his team in a managerial capacity.

As an experienced Mechanical Building Services Design Manager you must have a minimum of 6 years experience in managing/driving/mentoring and recruiting your own personnel.

You should be up to speed on the majority of Mechanical Building Services software and be able to assist in making recommendations to the company in this field.

You will hold a relevant Degree and either be of Chartered MCIBSE status or looking to attain this. Full sponsorship will be given and any further professional education (MSc etc) will be fully funded.

The remit for this role goes well beyond Design Management. The Practice will want you to become involved with some of their clients on a day to day basis so your communication skills must be of the highest possible order. There are times where you will need to wear a Business Development hat so some background here will be useful or, for ambitious candidates, the necessary courses etc will be funded by the business.

The career opportunities are not limited to Design Management and the path forward could well be to full Partner or Director status.

This company have a portfolio of amazing and in some cases very technically challenging projects so, no 2 days are the same!

This role is not London based so if you live in Berkshire or the surrounding Counties and you are fed up with commuting then this may be another reason to apply.

If this sounds of interest, please do contact me right away for an informal yet fully confidential conversation.
