Construction Project Manager – Racking/Mezzanine/Steel - Glasgow & WFH
Looking to add an experienced construction project manager to a busy team. Role entails fit-out and installations of large racking and automated mezzanine systems in distribution centres and warehouses across the UK – the role would suit an experienced manager who has a track record of working in sectors like structural steel, off-site/modular etc specialist contractors - project is in Kilmarnock, and will require travel there from May onwards (Working from home/flexible role)
Responsible for delivery of a special project in a fast paced, innovative environment where experience of managing tasks, a dynamic team and interaction with key stakeholders is essential.
This role will suit a self-starter with ambition to contribute to the wider team, delivering results within budget and on time. Must be strong on pre-construction works, as well as design
Key Responsibilities
•Manage stakeholder relationships as the first point of contact.
•Manage the lifecycle of the project from conception, through design to completion on site
.•Manage a dedicated team reporting to the Construction & Procurement Director.
•Ensure project is delivered to CDM (2015 or later) regulations.
•Participate in Project workshops, team meetings
•Ensure internal quality processes are followed, and quality standards are maintained.
•Identify generic risks and project specific risks, track through project.
•Ensure that deliverables are prepared and ready for each project delivery gateway.
Additional Responsibilities
•Attend Team meetings with Designers and Principle Contractor.
•Drive innovation through Supply Chain and Procurement team.
•Provide reports and updates as required throughout the Project.
