€75,000-85,000 DOE + Package

Due to our client's continued expansion, we are actively seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to be working in their projects based in Rosslare, Ireland. Our client is a Tier 1 contractor committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers exceptional services. The company is currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for leading the commissioning activities for the company projects, ensuring that the systems and components are verified, installed and tested according to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Conducting commission-ability reviews and providing recommendations for commissioning requirements.

  • Developing schedules, plans and strategies for commissioning activities.

  • Creating pre-commissioning checklists based on project specifications.

  • Supervising a team of engineers and supervisors across multiple concurrent commissioning activities.

  • Attending client commissioning meetings and leading internal commissioning meetings to provide input on commissioning requirements and integration to project designs.

  • Generating regular commissioning reports to project teams and clients on the project’s progress, issues and resolutions.

  • Establishing commissioning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and highlight progress.

  • Reviewing vendor Operation and Maintenance manuals to ensure compliance with project specifications.

  • Supervise the installation of building systems and components to ensure that the quality and standards are followed.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning systems, with at least 2 years in a commissioning management role.

  • Must possess strong teamwork skills while also capable of working independently.

  • In-depth knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) system interfaces, with electrical commissioning knowledge being advantageous.

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification is required, with accreditation from a recognized commissioning body being highly desirable.

  • Exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent people management and communication skills are essential.

  • Excellent IT skills.
