Integration Lead Data Centre Construction – Sweden Due to continued expansion, the requirement now exists for an experienced Integration Lead to join the project team delivering a €500m+ Data Centre in Sweden. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, commissioning teams, subcontractors, specialist vendors, and client representatives to ensure all integrated systems are delivered in line with design intent, technical specifications, and programme requirements. Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor delivering new build data centre schemes across Northern & Central Europe. This organisation provides a full turnkey solution, constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, structural build, M&E installation, fit-out, and final handover. Company turnover is currently €1.3bn, with continued growth of 10% – 15% year-on-year.
The Integration Lead will play a critical role in coordinating and managing the integration of all building systems across the project, ensuring seamless interface between mechanical, electrical, BMS, EPMS, life safety, security, and IT infrastructure systems. This position is pivotal in ensuring systems operate cohesively during commissioning, testing, and final client handover within a complex, mission-critical environment.
• Lead and manage the overall systems integration strategy across the project
• Coordinate interfaces between MEP systems, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, fire alarm, security, and ICT infrastructure
• Develop and maintain the Integration Plan aligned with commissioning and project milestones
• Chair integration workshops and interface coordination meetings
• Review technical submittals and ensure system compatibility and communication protocols are aligned
• Oversee point-to-point testing, integrated systems testing (IST), and end-to-end validation
• Identify and mitigate interface risks between trades and specialist vendors
• Work closely with commissioning managers to ensure structured and sequenced system handover
• Ensure documentation, as-builts, cause & effect matrices, and testing records are complete and accurate
• Support troubleshooting of system interface issues during energisation and commissioning
• Liaise with client technical teams to ensure integration standards and operational requirements are achieved
• Promote a collaborative, solution-focused culture across all disciplines
