Site Manager – Temporary – Kidderminster – Country Estate Regeneration


Our client is a leading Independent Construction Consultancy working across multiple construction & engineering sectors and operating across the UK.


Our client is now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team working on a prestigious new project. This £50m scheme, close to Kidderminster, is a 3-year development / regeneration of a country estate set in over 700 acres and works will include, new build, infrastructure & access roads, landscaping and restoration of the main listed building. The standard of work & finishes will be of the highest quality


Our client is acting as the Project Manager on this scheme. Applications are sought ideally from Graduate or equivalent qualified Site Managers with a current SMSTS and first aid certificates. Due to the extremely high-level of finish and the exacting nature of this client we are seeking experienced Site Managers (with 10 - 15 years UK experience). Applicants must have experience with heritage conservation and / or high-end residential works.


This role will require a good standard of I.T literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Word) and the role will require basic report writing, so some experience of Asta Powerproject programming software would be an advantage  


This is a site-based role monitoring all construction H&S, progress and quality aspects of

the project and this role will be reporting directly to the Project Director whilst working closely with large multidisciplinary team.


Duties will include;

"             Record keeping and reporting of the construction process

"             Liaison with all contractors on site

"             Co-ordination with the Estate Manger's team and the Construction Manager

"             Review of tender packages with Commercial Manager

"             Chairing and recording progress and co-ordination meetings

"             Development of detailed work programmes and schedules

"             Assessment of RAMS

"             Preparation of weekly progress reports including photos and programme drop lines

"             Management of site Q&A (RFI) system

"             Co-ordination with site-based Architect


This role is offered on a temporary-contract, the negotiable daily rate will depend on factors including but not limited to; your level of specific experience working on heritage, listed building & high-end residential works, your level of education (HND, Degree, Trade route etc), the level of experience working with major (circa £50m) schemes, and your level of seniority you will be able take within the team (Site Manager or Senor Site Manager)
