Site Engineer

Residential & Commercial Construction – Dublin, Limerick & Wexford
Our client is a well-established main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across Ireland. With a strong reputation for excellence, the company operates across a diverse portfolio including residential developments, commercial buildings, retail, and mixed-use projects.
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, our client is now seeking experienced Site Engineers to join project teams across Dublin, Limerick, and Wexford. These roles will support the delivery of both residential and commercial developments, with a particular focus on setting out and site engineering functions.
The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting site management teams by ensuring that works are accurately set out and constructed in accordance with design specifications, programme requirements, and quality standards. Working closely with project managers, site managers, subcontractors, and design teams, Site Engineers will contribute to the efficient delivery of projects within fast-paced construction environments.
The successful candidates will work closely with project management, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all works are delivered to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out setting out and surveying duties for residential and commercial construction projects
• Interpret and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, tolerances, and design requirements
• Provide engineering support to site management and subcontractors during construction activities
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure works are delivered in line with the project programme
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure construction standards are maintained
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of method statements and risk assessments
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues on site
• Liaise with design teams, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure efficient project delivery
• Promote and support a strong health & safety culture across all site activities
