Senior Setting Out Engineer – Dublin – High rise Residential

We are currently partnering with a leading Contractor who are active across the UK and Europe. Demonstrating success in an array of sectors including but not limited to, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Energy and many more. Due to continued success, they are looking to further strengthen their team with experienced Senior Setting Out Engineers in Dublin.

Responsibilities

•   Setting Out Ownership
Take full responsibility for all setting out activities across a complex high-rise development, establishing and maintaining accurate site control systems to ensure precision in all structural and architectural elements.
•   Drawings & Control Points
Interpret detailed drawings, models, and specifications to accurately transfer design information onto site, setting out benchmarks, gridlines, and datums to guide construction activities across multiple work fronts.
•   Coordination & Problem Solving
Collaborate closely with engineers, site managers, and subcontractors to resolve dimensional discrepancies and sequencing challenges, proactively identifying and addressing issues to minimise disruption and rework.
•   Equipment Management
Manage and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring regular calibration and consistent accuracy, while implementing best practices in surveying techniques across the team.
•   As-Built Documentation
Produce and manage precise as-built surveys, verifying completed works align with design intent, and maintaining detailed records to support quality assurance, client reporting, and final handover.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades’ background
Must have 4+ years experience in a similar role on large-scale residential projects or similar
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin

Benefits
