MEP Lead - Data Centre - Finland

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. 
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities

•    MEP Package Leadership
Lead the delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems across the data centre project, ensuring installation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, programme milestones, and quality standards.
•    Design Coordination & Technical Management
Coordinate closely with design consultants, specialist subcontractors, and BIM teams to review MEP design documentation, resolve technical queries, and ensure constructability of complex building services systems including power distribution, cooling infrastructure, and life safety systems.
•    MEP Construction Oversight
Manage day-to-day MEP construction activities on site, overseeing subcontractors and installation teams to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the project schedule, safety procedures, and required quality standards.
•    Programme & Interface Coordination
Collaborate with planning, CSA, and commissioning teams to ensure MEP installation activities are effectively sequenced within the overall construction programme, enabling timely energisation, systems testing, and commissioning milestones.
•    Quality Assurance & Commissioning Readiness
Ensure all MEP systems are installed and tested in accordance with project specifications and commissioning requirements, supporting inspections, documentation, and system readiness for integrated testing and final client handover.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres

Benefits

€110,000 - €120,000 + Accommodation, Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, €250 net per week overseas allowance
