Electrical Supervisor

Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor delivering new build data centre schemes across Northern & Central Europe. This organisation provides a full turnkey solution, constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, structural build, M&E installation, fit-out, and final handover. Company turnover is currently €1.3bn, with continued growth of 10%–15% year-on-year.
Due to continued expansion, the requirement now exists for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the project team delivering a €500m+ hyperscale Data Centre in Frankfurt, Germany.
The Electrical Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day electrical installation works, ensuring that HV and LV systems, UPS, switchgear, generators, and power distribution systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating on-site electrical teams, monitoring work progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities on site, including HV/LV systems, switchgear, UPS, and generators
• Coordinate and lead on-site electricians and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification
• Review and implement method statements, risk assessments, and work permits for electrical tasks
• Monitor installation progress and quality, identifying and resolving issues proactively
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, project safety procedures, and LOTO requirements
• Support commissioning teams during testing, energisation, and handover of electrical systems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and tests
• Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks to enforce safety and quality standards
• Liaise with project management and client representatives regarding electrical works progress and technical issues
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork across all electrical activities
