Senior BIM Coordinator - Dublin
Due to our client ongoing expansion, we are seeking to hire a Senior BIM Coordinator for our Dublin projects.
As a BIM Coordinator, you will contribute technical expertise to implement and manage the BIM process from precontract to project delivery. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful and growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility for the BIM process on the project.
- Implement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan.
- Ensure all project team members adhere to the BIM Execution Plan.
- Establish BIM coordination workshops, report progress, and record proceedings.
- Record BIM models and their status.
- Establish quality control procedures to verify model accuracy and appropriate definition levels for each project stage.
- Identify and document clashes using Navisworks Manage, leading clash detection meetings with other project stakeholders.
- Advise the team on significant clashes and information issues related to the BIM aspect of the works.
- Record and monitor shared data and relationships between models.
- Identify and agree on shared technical requirements, software interoperability, and BIM standards for each team member.
- Monitor the uploading of information models to the Common Data Environment, ensuring compliance with the BIM execution plan.
- Coordinate the handover of models and data at agreed milestones.
- Conduct occasional model generation to facilitate design development.
- Ensure skills and expertise are kept up to date in this rapidly changing environment.
- Perform all other duties associated with this role.
Specific Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Construction/Structural/Services.
- 5+ years post-graduate experience in a related field.
- Previous experience with a main contractor is desirable.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Proficient in Navisworks Manage.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Revit Architecture.
- Understanding of BIM Procedures & Protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on your initiative.
