Location: London Salary: £110k - £115k + benefits

Our client a leading and very busy principal contractor with a turnover in excess of £400m working across Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation project sectors in the middle east, Europe and UK require a lead logistics professional  with very sound commercial understanding to join their project team on a £130m package in London. You will be suitably qualified with over 5 years experience at a senior level working on large fast track construction projects in London and a good knowledge of lift plans, lifting qualifications will be additionally beneficial with the ability to priorities workload ensure materials and equipment make it to the workface at the required date
Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders in a professional manner to ensure project targets are met.
Responsibilities
•    Supervising the Logistics and general operatives
•    Ensuring material deliveries are fully coordinated and managing the process of getting materials into project and to workface
•    Acting as a liaison with our off site manufacturing facility to ensure our prefabricate elements are delivered to site as required.
•    Maintaining an efficient and accurate day-to-day running of the stores.
•    Overseeing the operation of stock control measures within the stores
•    Tracking orders to ensure orders are delivered on time and to the right location
•    Ensuring safe & correct handling of stock.
•    Loading and unloading of deliveries co-ordination of deliveries via an online system
•    All waste, fuel, materials, and transport information correctly uploaded onto SmartWaste within the specified timeframe.
•    Attending weekly coordination meetings with the main contractor and ensuring a fully coordinated approach for getting materials to work face
•    Submitting material monthly progress reports pertaining to  quantities and type, correctly
•    Monitoring & managing the DESL project Zero avoidable waste action from our Environmental / Sustainability Action Plan including assisting the DESL HSE advisor with environmental inspections and reporting, to be completed weekly.
•    Overseeing several teams both on site and within the offsite storage warehouses
•    Managing and co-ordinating material management from warehouse facilities to site and the distribution of these to work areas.
