Commercial Lead – Data Centre – Frankfurt

We are currently partnered with a large MEP Subcontractor with presence across the UK and Europe. They have recently acquired a €50m MEP Package of works on a Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Due to this they are now actively seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to join the team.

Responsibilities

•    Commercial Strategy & Financial Control:
Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the €50M MEP package, ensuring robust financial control, cost management, and alignment with both company objectives and project-specific commercial targets.
•    Contract Management & Risk Mitigation:
Manage all contractual matters with clients, main contractors, and suppliers, including negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution. Identify commercial risks and lead mitigation strategies to protect project margin and minimise exposure.
•    Valuations, Variations & Reporting:
Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate monthly valuations, manage change control processes, and ensure all variations and claims are properly substantiated and submitted in a timely manner.
•    Procurement Oversight & Supply Chain Coordination:
Lead the procurement strategy and commercial management of key MEP packages and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing, clear scopes, and alignment with programme and quality requirements.
•    Team Leadership & Client Liaison:
Manage and mentor the commercial team on-site, fostering collaboration with operations and planning teams. Act as the primary commercial interface with the client and main contractor to ensure transparency, accountability, and positive commercial outcomes.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects 
Must come from an MEP background
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany

Benefits
€100,000 - €120,000 + Full rotational Package
