Controlled Environments & high tech solutions projects, throughout UK

Knowledge of fit out projects preferred – current workload includes cleanrooms, datacentres and commercial office / retail fit outs

The Role

We are a high growth, progressive market leader in the design, manufacture and construction of controlled environments. Primarily office based, however, travel is anticipated and encouraged to the construction sites and/or other offices to build relationships or help support project delivery

About You

As a Senior Project Controls Engineer, you will be an excellent communicator, ensuring engagement and interaction with the schedule to maintain momentum towards successful accomplishment of project objectives.

Highly experienced in Primavera P6
Ability to confidently communicate the project schedule and project performance effectively to a wide range of stakeholders (from director to site level)
Relevant formal qualification (APM, AcostE, PMP) or otherwise Project Control accreditation
Experienced in Extension of Time principles and SCL Delay and Disruption Protocol
Knowledge of commercial language and common forms of contract
MS Office competent (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to interpret technical drawings and 3D models
Knowledge of BIM processes
 

Key Responsibilities

Senior Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintain schedules for all aspects of design, procurement, construction to close out in Primavera P6.
Developing, implementing, and administering earned value reporting systems alongside schedule and cost variance reporting
Schedule creation, work breakdown structures, robust schedule logic, critical path analysis, resource and cost allocation, and schedule risk analysis
Effective schedule monitoring and control; baseline management, planning workshops, progress data collection, performance measurement, variance reporting, escalation of issues.
Monitoring and corrective action of approved commercial and project KPIs.
The candidate will be able to provide valuable input to aid in developing the company’s planning and project controls processes and procedures.
Work in close conjunction with other members of the commercial department to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and monitored in the project schedule
