Electrical Project Manager – Steel Plant – Lulea

We are currently partnering with a multinational Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation services provider with offices across Europe. Due to continued growth in their industrial arm, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Lulea, Sweden.

Responsibilities

•   Project Delivery & Execution
Lead the end-to-end delivery of all electrical packages on a major steel plant construction project, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
•   Stakeholder & Interface Management
Manage interfaces across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and process, as well as client, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project integration
•   Commercial & Contract Oversight
Take ownership of electrical scope budgets, cost control, and change management, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and alignment with contractual obligations
•   Technical Leadership & Compliance
Provide technical guidance and oversight on design, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations
•   HSE & Quality Assurance
Champion a strong safety culture on site, ensuring all electrical works are executed in line with HSE policies, QA/QC procedures, and best practice across a high-risk industrial environment

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades’ background
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale Industrial projects
Must have EU Passport or Right to Work in Sweden
