Location: North East England Salary: £65,000- 70,000 DOE

QA/QC Manager- North East England  

to £70,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits 

Our client, a leading contractor with projects all over Europe committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services, looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager on a fixed term contract for 12 months in a project based in North East England. As a QA/QC Manager you will be responsible for managing the QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications codes & standards. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:   

  • Establish and implement a comprehensive QA/QC program for installations including policies, procedures, and inspection protocols. 

  • Present the project quality plan for approval to the client. 

  • Establish quality standards & criterion ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards. 

  • Manage regular inspections of project installations to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications, and regulations. 

  • Carry out quality control checks and tests on equipment & systems.  

  • Coordinate with engineers, internal teams, and stakeholders to conduct inspections as needed and review testing reports for accuracy and completeness. 

  • Lay out and maintain detailed records of QA/QC activities including inspection reports and corrective actions.  

  • Arrange comprehensive QA/QC documentation for inclusion in project closeout packages and ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate.  

  • Work together with project teams to address QA/QC related issues and provide timely updates on QA/QC status and progress. 

  • Preparation of weekly QA/QC reports from inspections including issues found and corrective actions implemented.  

  • Verify all the equipment has valid certificates. 

  • Proven record of accomplishments in QA/QC roles with CSA or M&E background.  

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems & processes.  

  • Pharmaceutical plant construction experience is beneficial.  

  • Proven communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Knowledge of QA/QC softwares & tools.
