Our client is a top tier contractor looking for an experienced Planner to bring expertise in planning, scheduling and to contribute to various project teams and functional disciplines. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a highly confidential project, developing comprehensive implementation strategies, incorporating deliverables into project schedules, and preparing project life cycle and master schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the development and implementation of project scheduling processes, tools, and deliverables.
Collaborate with contractors, project team members, performing work groups, and systems planners to develop and integrate activity durations and logic sequences necessary for project work.
Lead planning sessions and project schedule reporting with project and organizational management at all levels.
Lead manpower loading/resource analysis and develop status-earned man-hour progress curves as needed.
Oversee planning coverage for various project aspects, including show/ride concept development, design, production, installation, test and adjust, programming, and core building construction.
Prepare schedule reporting specifications for contract bid packages and determine Schedule Milestones and/or Key Dates for inclusion in the Contract Specification.
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering/construction planning and scheduling
With previous experience working on large scale projects in Pharmaceutical/Hi-Tech Distribution/Data Centre/Warehouse is ideal.
