A leading European data centre delivery specialist is currently seeking two experienced CSA Engineers to join a major hyperscale data centre development in Milan.
 

This organisation is delivering some of the most advanced mission-critical infrastructure projects across Europe, supporting global technology clients through full turnkey delivery from design, construction, and commissioning through to final handover.
 

As a CSA Engineer, you will take responsibility for overseeing the Civil, Structural and Architectural works packages on site, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and programme performance are achieved.
 

This is a highly technical role requiring strong coordination across subcontractors, design teams, and QA/QC functions, with a focus on right-first-time delivery and zero-defect execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site execution of CSA works including civils, structural, and architectural scopes
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with approved drawings, specifications, and benchmarks
• Maintain quality control across all construction activities, supporting a zero-defects approach
• Coordinate closely with the QA/QC team to ensure timely submission of documentation and compliance records
• Review contractor work and raise snag lists through the approved project platform
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and track progress against the construction programme
• Manage site documentation, reports, and technical records throughout the project lifecycle
• Attend and actively contribute to site meetings, lookahead planning sessions, engineering reviews, and handover meetings
• Liaise with the design team to resolve drawing queries, constructability issues, and technical challenges
• Monitor close-out of snags and defects, ensuring corrective actions are completed efficiently
• Promote safe systems of work and ensure all CSA activities meet project Health & Safety standards

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience delivering CSA works on large-scale construction projects
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or high-tech project experience highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of CSA construction methods, sequencing, and QA/QC procedures
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage works to programme deadlines
• Competent reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving capability
• Confident using digital construction platforms for snagging, reporting, and document control
