BIM Coordinator (MEP Bias – Data Centre Project) Location: Eskilstuna, Sweden A leading European data centre delivery specialist is currently seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a major hyperscale data centre development in Eskilstuna, Sweden. This organisation delivers full turnkey data centre campuses across Europe, supporting global technology clients through design, construction, installation, commissioning, and final handover. With over 500MW of mission-critical projects currently live across multiple European countries, this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most active and respected contractors in the sector. As BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful coordination of complex MEP services, resolving clashes between disciplines, and driving BIM execution milestones from early-stage installation through to commissioning and handover. This is a hands-on, site-based role within a fast-paced hyperscale environment, working closely with package managers, engineers, and the wider digital delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver all project 2D and 3D coordination milestones in line with the BIM Execution Plan
• Produce coordinated drawings, schedules, and specifications to support construction delivery
• Liaise with MEP package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex installations
• Support the development of coordinated construction-ready models for site teams
• Ensure model accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project sequencing priorities
• Maintain BIM workflows and digital standards across the project lifecycle
• Assist with technical reviews, model updates, and integration of subcontractor information
• Support junior BIM staff with mentoring, technical guidance, and coordination oversight
• Participate in coordination meetings, workshops, and digital planning sessions
• Ensure BIM deliverables support commissioning, handover, and final as-built documentation
Requirements
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Navisworks clash detection experience highly advantageous
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience coordinating BIM on large-scale construction projects
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Building Services, Digital Construction, or similar
• Experience working in data centres, pharma, or mission-critical environments is beneficial
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary delivery team
