MEP Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre – Italy

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. 
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities

•    Own MEP Cost Planning & Estimates
Generate detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing cost plans, ensuring alignment with design and scope while keeping budgets under control.
•    Drive MEP Tendering & Supplier Selection
Manage the tendering process, evaluate bids, and recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising technical quality.
•    Control MEP Variations & Changes
Track and assess all MEP variations, ensure approvals, and update financials accurately to maintain cost integrity.
•    Report & Forecast MEP Costs
Deliver regular MEP-specific cost reports, forecasts, and analyses that inform project financial decision-making.
•    Collaborate with MEP Teams for Cost Control
Partner with engineers and site teams to resolve technical issues while safeguarding budgets and ensuring specifications are met.

Requirements

Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

Benefits

€80,000 - €90,000 + Accommodation, 10/4 Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, €160 net per week overseas allowance
