We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Milan, Italy.
Develop, implement, and oversee the site-specific EHS management plan, ensuring compliance with Italian legislation, EU directives, and company standards. Promote a proactive safety culture across all project teams and subcontractors.
• Risk Management & Compliance
Lead risk assessments, method statement reviews, and safety audits. Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents and ensure continual improvement in EHS performance.
• Training & Awareness
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted training programs to ensure all personnel are competent, informed, and committed to working safely.
• Incident Investigation & Reporting
Manage the reporting and investigation of accidents, near misses, and environmental events. Ensure root causes are identified and that corrective actions are communicated and verified.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with project management, client representatives, and regulatory bodies to maintain transparency and compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to company-wide EHS best-practice development.
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have Strong knowledge of current Irish and EU Health & Safety legislation.
