We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Milan, Italy.
Develop and maintain detailed project cost plans, monitor expenditure against budgets, and identify potential savings or risks to ensure the project remains financially on track throughout all phases of construction.
• Tendering & Procurement Oversight
Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender documents for contractors and suppliers, providing commercial advice to ensure procurement decisions achieve value for money while meeting project timelines and quality requirements.
• Contract Administration & Variation Management
Manage and administer all contracts, including subcontractor agreements, variations, and claims, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and mitigating commercial risk for the project.
• Financial Reporting & Forecasting
Produce regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates, analysing trends and providing actionable insights to support decision-making by project stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Risk Mitigation
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to identify, assess, and mitigate cost-related risks, providing proactive commercial guidance to maintain project value and delivery objectives.
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
