They  are seeking a Managing / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding team.

THE ROLE:
Managing Quantity Surveyor
DUTIES:

Managing the Commercial elements of a number of projects running in parallel

  1.     The ability to work closely with the operations and delivery team ensuring work is carried out as effectively as possible
  2.     Working with the client to ensure any issues are resolved in a satisfactory manner
  3.     Cost reporting
  4.     Managing suppliers and subcontractors
  5.     Oversee the procurement of new suppliers & subcontractors
  6.     Prepare monthly CVR's
  7.     Manage the projects cash flow
  8.     Identify and manage risks and opportunities
  9.     Prepare accurate monthly Cost Value Reports for review with Commercial Managers / Project Managers/ Contracts Managers and presentation to the Senior Leadership Team.
  10.     Act as a mentor to junior surveyors / project surveyors and offer commercial support and guidance to your immediate team and the wider project team
  11.     Manage the process of Change Management and contract Administration.

REQUIREMENTS:
Essential Skills

  •     Strong commercial background
  •     Previous experience working on Residential, Commercial and Industrial or similar projectsIn-depth knowledge and understanding of construction processes, techniques, and systems
  •     In-depth knowledge and understanding of requirements of Irish Water and of statutory bodies.
  •     The ability to manage sub-contractors effectively
  •     Strong negotiator with a client focused approach

Education & Experience
    Hold Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying
 10+years’ experience
