Design Engineer - Falmer - Utilities

We are partnering with a ‘cradle to grave’ project delivery partner specialising in planning, commercial and project management. Due to continued growth in their team, they are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to aid with their development in Falmer.

Responsibilities

Design Delivery for Utilities Projects: Produce detailed design deliverables for gas and water infrastructure projects, including P&IDs, ELDs, pipeline route plans, connection details, stoppling designs, and crossing layouts.
Technical Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conduct technical reviews of designs and documentation to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Stakeholder and Client Liaison: Liaise directly with clients, utility providers, and third-party stakeholders to gather input, coordinate design requirements, and ensure alignment throughout the design process.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, CAD technicians, and project managers to support the delivery of integrated design packages within project deadlines.
Support Through Project Lifecycle: Contribute to the design process from concept through to construction, providing technical input and resolving design-related queries as required by the construction and delivery teams.

Requirements

Must have Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
Must have previous utilities design experience
Must be eligible to work in the UK

Benefits

£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
