Our Client a busy international contractor require a mechanically biased Commissioning Manager with knowledge of HVAC and water systems, validation and quality control on a £8.0m+ R&D life sciences project based in the Oxfordshire region reporting to the Project Manager. The desired individual will be suitably qualified with at least 4 years prior experience at management level gained in the UK working within the healthcare, pharmaceutical and critical environment sectors. Responsibilities will include being involved with pre-Commissioning procedures, design reviews, managing all aspects of inspection, testing and commissioning activities on the project, preparing and developing commissioning plans etc. You will also be responsible for liaising with the Project Manager any delays and productivity from commissioning specialists including identifying and resolving issues with post-handover commissioning while monitoring commissioning sub-contractors and their performance.
As the Commissioning Manager your duties will include leading commissioning meetings with site and client teams while ensuring proper management of the testing and flushing of the chemical treatment systems including the LTHW, CHW, Condenser and domestic water services. You will also manage the testing and commissioning of the Mechanical & HVAC systems including BMS control packages with proper validation and verification of the air performance systems
