Mechanical Commissioning Engineer - Gävle, Sweden (On-site)
€80,000 – €90,000 per year + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,300 Net Living Allowance per Month

A leading European contractor is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support delivery of HVAC and mechanical commissioning on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical commissioning planning and programme delivery
• Supervise installation works prior to testing
• Witness FATs, SATs and Integrated Systems Testing
• Commission mechanical plant (Chillers, AHUs, CRAHs)
• Manage vendors, subcontractors, and site coordination
• Oversee documentation, snagging, and final handover
• Ensure all works meet strict H&S and quality standards

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services or relevant trade background
• 5+ years commissioning experience in mission-critical projects
• Data centre or pharma experience highly beneficial
• Strong communication and organisation skills
