Junior Design Manager – Commercial Fit-Out – Central London

We are currently partnering with a leading fit-out Main Contractor specialising in Offices, Higher Education and Science Facilities. Having demonstrated huge success across London they are now seeking to further expand their team with a Junior Design Manager in Central London.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Design Information: Support the management and coordination of architectural and consultant design packages, ensuring timely delivery aligned with the construction programme.
Liaise with Stakeholders: Act as a key liaison between architects, consultants, contractors, and client teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Review Drawings and Specifications: Assist in reviewing technical drawings, layouts, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, building regulations, and client expectations.
Attend Site and Design Meetings: Participate in regular site inspections, design workshops, and coordination meetings, providing design input and helping resolve technical issues on-site.
Support Design Approvals and Change Control: Help manage the design approval process, track design changes, and maintain accurate records for compliance, programme impact, and cost control.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will come from an architectural background with a degree level qualification

Must have previous commercial fit-out experience

Must have UK Passport/RTW in the UK

Benefits

£30,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits
