Civils Lead - Data Centre - Finland

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. 
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Civils Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Espoo, Finland.

Responsibilities

•    Lead All Civil Engineering Works Across the Project
Provide overall leadership for civil engineering activities including site preparation, bulk earthworks, groundworks, drainage infrastructure, roadways, utilities corridors and external hardstanding areas, ensuring delivery aligns with programme, safety and quality standards.
•    Manage Civil Subcontractors, Site Teams & Construction Sequencing
Oversee the performance of multiple civils subcontractors and site supervisors, coordinating resources, logistics and work sequencing to maintain productivity and progress across all external works packages.
•    Ensure Technical Compliance, Engineering Standards & Quality Assurance
Drive adherence to project specifications, engineering drawings and local regulatory requirements through regular inspections, technical reviews and QA/QC processes across all civils installations.
•    Lead Civil Design Coordination & Technical Issue Resolution
Review civil engineering drawings and design updates, manage RFIs and technical queries, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve constructability challenges and maintain alignment with approved designs.
•    Control Programme Delivery, Risk & Commercial Performance
Monitor civil works progress against the master programme, lead look-ahead planning, identify risks and constraints, and support the commercial team in managing variations, progress valuations and subcontractor performance.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (Including Data Centres)
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background

Benefits

€100,000 - €120,000 + Accommodation, 17/4 Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, €250 net per week overseas allowance
