Data Centre Construction – Finland
Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor delivering new build data centre schemes across Northern & Central Europe. This organisation provides a full turnkey solution, constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, structural build, M&E installation, fit-out, and final handover. Company turnover is currently €1.3bn, with continued growth of 10%–15% year-on-year.

Due to continued expansion, the requirement now exists for an experienced Senior Planner to join the project team delivering a €600m+ hyperscale Data Centre in Finland.
The Senior Planner will play a key role in developing, managing, and maintaining the overall project programme, ensuring all phases of the project are carefully planned, monitored, and delivered in line with project milestones. Working closely with project management, engineering teams, subcontractors, and the client, the successful candidate will ensure effective planning strategies are implemented across a large-scale, fast-paced, mission-critical construction environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for programme development, progress monitoring, reporting, and identifying risks to the project schedule while supporting the delivery team in achieving key project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes covering all stages of the build including civil, structural, and M&E works
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate programme integration and sequencing
• Monitor progress against the baseline programme and identify potential delays or risks to project milestones

• Conduct programme reviews and planning meetings with key project personnel
• Analyse critical path activities and implement mitigation strategies to maintain programme delivery

• Review subcontractor programmes to ensure alignment with the overall project timeline
• Assist with change management and assess the impact of variations on the project schedule
• Provide planning support during commissioning and handover phases
• Maintain accurate planning documentation and reporting in line with project requirements
• Promote proactive planning practices across all project disciplines

In Return, Our Client Offers
• Negotiable basic salary
• Comprehensive package of net allowances
• Fully expensed accommodation
• Rotational travel
• Attractive bonus structure
