Location: Dublin Salary: €50,000-65,000 DOE

EHS Advisor- Dublin City 

€50,000-65,000 DOE + Car allowance + Package

Due to our client’s continuous expansion we are looking for experienced and dedicated EHS Advisor to be working in the company's projects in Dublin, Ireland. Our client is an established and reputable engineering services contractor with core divisions that includes Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection. The organisation is also involved in delivering top notch services in Off Site Fabrication, Technical Support Services, Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Specialist Lift, Geo-Surveying, Maintenance, Asset Management  and BIM (Building Information Modelling).

As EHS Advisor you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing the safety and environmental management controls and procedures within the workplace that coincide with safety legislation and standards.

Key Responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensure that site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements. 

  • Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager. 

  • Implement and maintain company’s Safety Management System. 

  • Undertake site inspections / audits and report findings to the project EHS Manager. 

  • Identifying training needs, and report requirements to the project EHS Manager. 

  • Deliver Health and Safety Inductions, and weekly Toolbox Talks. 

  • Organising and chairing Safety Meetings. 

  • Review sub-contractors Methos Statements / Risk Assessments and assist where required. 

  • Advising and assisting the site teams in drafting Safe Plans of Action.  

  • Assist with accident / incident investigation reports. 

  • Submit weekly reports. 

  • Carry out daily site walks and report findings to project supervisors immediately. 

 Key Skills and Requirements will include:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.

  • Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification essential. 

  • Excellent IT skills are an advantage.

  • Experience working in the Construction Sector desired. 

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.  

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
