Package Manager – Joinery works             London 

Our client is a dynamic and growing specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation and an international track record of successful delivery across range of sectors including luxury hotels, prime residential & commercial projects. 

Due to continued growth and recent contract awards the opportunity has arisen for an experienced Package Manger to join the team in London. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective delivery of Joinery packages on site and must ensure project completion on time, to specification and within budget.
  Principal duties will include:

•    Management of the end-to-end Joinery packages on site.
•    To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the relevant subcontractor.
•    Present the progress onsite to leadership. Report to Project Manager and liaise with other key members of the team such as QS/Design/Planning ensuring work is carried out in line with quality standards.
•    To work collaboratively with the internal site and teams, along with external contacts.
•    To report and record progress program plans and deadlines.
•    Chair regular meetings on site with subcontractors, ensuring accurate delivery.
•    Manage, and report on all subcontract/supplier activities.
•    Supply chain management, build & develop relationships and manage suppliers.
•    Delivery of improvement in overall value quality, cost, delivery,
•    Identification, assessment, and management of subcontracted risks to plan and deliver on time and in budget.
•    To maintain high levels of health & safety and quality control throughout the project.
•    Manage progress and delivery of the design to manufacture ensuring the client expectation is reached.

Applicants should possess relevant qualifications, have a strong joinery background and have extensive joinery management experience on interior fit-out type projects.  

Candidates must have excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills along with sound commercial acumen. Candidates should also have experience working in a pressurised environment with the ability to keep calm under pressure and go the extra mile to meet deadlines and targets.
