Our client, with over £100 million turnover, is a leading Joinery contractor, urgently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented No. 1 Joinery Site Manager for a project in London. As a Joinery Site Manager you will oversee all joinery activities on construction sites, ensuring that joinery work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:  

  • Initiate detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects.  

  • Conduct site assessment to identify the project requirements, risks, and opportunities.  

  • Encourage a safe working environment by implementing EHS regulations, codes, and standards.  

  • Collaborate with project managers and senior management in the development of project programs and incorporating the daily/weekly schedule of target accomplishments.  

  • Identify and distribute resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution. 

  • Review and verify contractors RAMS for approval, tickets records, and allocate inductions. 

  • Oversee all the site construction activities ensuring that works are performed safely and effectively following the project plans and specifications. 

  • Carry out quality control measures and procedures to identify and address construction errors and deficiencies. 

  • Prepare regular updates on project progress, milestones and issues and address stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally. 

  • Lead a regular meeting to monitor the project's progress ensuring safe execution, timely delivery, quality assurance including considering budgetary limitations.  

  • Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field. 

  • Proven accomplishments in managing large scale joinery projects. 

  • Updated knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, codes, and standards.  

  • CSCS Black Card and SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications are beneficial. 

  • Strong verbal & written communication and problem-solving skills. 

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
