Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Sweden
We are currently partnering with a multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor specialising in Pharmaceuticals, Data Centres, Power Transmission and distribution. Due to their continued success they are seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join and grow with their team in Sweden.
Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, project budgets, and cost plans based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Tendering and Procurement Support: Support the tendering process by reviewing bids, preparing tender documents, and assisting in procurement activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Contract Administration: Help manage contracts by monitoring performance, tracking variations, and ensuring that terms are met. Support the management of claims, disputes, and payments.
- Cost Control and Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction phase, including tracking expenses, identifying cost overruns, and helping implement corrective actions.
- Measurement and Valuation: Perform site measurements and valuations of work completed, preparing reports for progress payments, and ensuring the accuracy of final accounts.
- Reporting and Documentation: Assist in the preparation of regular cost reports, cash flows, and documentation for clients, ensuring that all financial records are up to date and accurately reflect project status.
Requirements
- 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying ideal
- Plumber/Pipefitter or Mechanical Background preferred
- Prior work placement experience would be advantageous
Benefits
